1. How many times does IGNOU take admission in a year?
Admissions 2 Times in a Year for semesters :
June- July and December- January.
For July Session : Admission dates between June to Sept/Oct (Till to extend)
For January Session : Admission dates between December to April/May (Till to extend)
2. What all documents required for Ignou admission & need to submit these documents Offline?
The list of documents required during IGNOU admissions is as follows:
- Passport size photograph
- Identity Proof
- Academic certificate (s)
- Birth certificate or documentary proof of birth
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Experience certificate, if applicable
- No Need to submit documents at any office, all documents are verified Online.

3. How long does it take to get admission confirmation from IGNOU?
After successfully submitting the IGNOU admission application with relevant documents and fees, it typically takes approximately 2 months to receive confirmation of enrollment in IGNOU.
Some Mistakes :
1. Uploaded Final Year Marksheet of last highest qualification
2. Documents uploaded from mobile, not scanned from printer (Quality Issue)

At the time of admission you can select (Printed/Digital Study Material)

For Digital Study Material -
- Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU- ignou.ac.in.
- Step 2: Click on the 'e-Gyankosh' tab.
- Step 3: Click on the link to download the study material.
- Step 4: Download the study material.

5. TEE (Term End Examination) Ignou details?
For semester courses students taking admission in june- july will have their TEE on December and students taking admission on December will have their TEE on June.
- IGNOU Conducts TEE twice in a year. i.e June and December of Every year.
- It is theory exam based on paper and pen.
- Time duration is generally 2 to 3 hours based on course code. Refer top of Question paper for exact time duration .
- The weightage of TEE is 70% and weightage of Assignment is 30% . Both these component is calculated to get exact percentage for the course code.
- Hall ticket is generated generally 1 week before the commencement of exam.
- Student must need to carry the Hall Ticket print out and IGNOU ID card to appear for IGNOU exam.
- Exam date sheet or time table is made available on University website once the Exam form submission link opens or activated. There is 99.99 % chance that date sheet available on University website is final but some times because of some reason it may change hence the time table displayed on the Hall ticket is FINAL.
- Any student who fails in some papers then s/he need to apply again in the next term exam. Exam fee once paid is non refundable and is not carry forwarded to the next cycle. Student who could not appear for exam need to apply again and pay the fee in the next TEE.
- Revised Exam Fee per course code is Rs 200/-.
